A delicious balance - the Tula in the Künstlerhaus

Julia and Sandro founded Tula in 2021, the bistro in the Künstlerhaus in order to be able to enrich Salzburg with a restaurant that mainly offers plant-based, healthy dishes.

 

Sandro cooks and Julia bakes in Tula - vegetarian and vegan - eating in Salzburg has never been so delicious!

The local variety is not neglected, drinks and food are always sourced from regional manufacturers whenever possible in order to keep the supply chains and thus the CO2 emissions as low as possible.

Tula ... the balance
 

Tula is derived from Sanskrit and stands for balance. We try to incorporate that into our cooking.

 

While the water of the Salzach is rushing by the Künstlerhaus, you can linger on our terrace and watch the steady stream go by. Whether during your lunch break, with coffee and freshly baked cake or in the evening with a glass of wine and appetizer.

 

Our food is created and prepared with attention and love to detail and with a verity of locally sourced, natural and healthy products.

fermentation
Because we ferment

Sandro makes the freshly delivered fruits and vegetables from our farm supplier preserved and quite delicious, fermented in a jar.

Ceramics

We also manufacture our ceramics ourselves.

With our ceramic master Andrea Striegl as great support, we made the complete tableware for the Tula Bistro ourselves.

The culinary delights can be enjoyed much more on such appealing dishes.
